A discount on the bill, or coins and cashback: which saves more?

Updated 7 October 2026 · 2 min read

Coins and cashback are only worth something if you spend them, before they expire, on the same app, often with a cap on how much applies to each order. A lower price on the bill is money you keep the moment you pay. Compare what you actually pay, not what is promised back.

How coins and cashback work

A reward is a promise of a future discount. It usually comes with conditions:

  • it can only be spent on the same app;
  • it expires after a set time;
  • only part of an order can be paid with it;
  • it often arrives days after delivery, so it cannot lower the bill you are paying now.

How we price instead

Davadekho has no coins, no cashback and no reward points. The price shown is the price paid, never above the printed MRP, and it is checked again in your cart before you pay.

How to compare fairly

  1. Add the same medicines, in the same quantities, on each app.
  2. Compare the final amount you pay, delivery included.
  3. Ignore anything promised back later, unless you are sure you will spend it before it expires.

Questions

Your cart re-checks every price before you pay, so you always pay today's price, never above MRP.
